GOD is my CEO, and my President

GOD is my CEO

And so much more.

A long-time ago I read this book called ‘GOD is my CEO,’ I think about nine to ten years ago. So, it is a long-time ago, therefore, I may need to re-read it, and buy it again, because somehow it’s not on my book shelves. Honestly, I don’t remember what is the book all about; like I said it has been a long-time. But for a while now, I have been living with this belief that not only GOD is my CEO, and my President, but He is so much more. I grew up and have been brought up to believe that God is Alpha and Omega. He is the One Who started all this creation, and the one who has the last say. Just like when you buy something and it comes with a manual book, an instruction book, or a guide how-to book, I believe God is the manual book for everything. He has solutions to fix things that have broken and also creating new things. To me, He is not just an Almighty Father and God our creator, but also I have tried to apply and include Him in different areas of my life. I mean, you can put God in every area of your life to help you with things. And if we really want to do things in the right way, God is the only help we need. His ways of wanting things to be done are always the correct ones.

The Bible is one of the best places to find out what is God capable of. People who wrote the Bible, they have written it not only to give evidence about their experiences with God, but also tell their perspective about God. The Bible is well put together for you and me to learn about God. Not only the Bible give solutions to so many things, but it gives hope to continue to believe and see things on the brighter sides, because if God is our helper, then there is no limit to what we can do, achieve, and be.

I have yet to see and hear about a person, who has lived his or her life, let’s say for 20 years now, and never had any problem, or never got sick, never felt any pain, or mistreated, or whatever. Because life has rocks, okay…the road is never always smooth. And even if it has sands, like beach sands, white and pretty, wonderful ocean breeze, but not all the time. In a given time, believe it or not, somehow it will get polluted even after the ocean water regularly try to cleans the sands. That’s how life has always been since ancient times. Maybe it has its reasons to be that way, reasons such as to help us changing our thinking, and start thinking of good thoughts, and also stop being too comfortable; because we need to evolving, changing, growing, and so on.

About almost all theories, concepts, and laws of some kind about life, like the law of attraction, the law of cause and effect, and other universal laws and principles; I bet if you look closely, you may find them mentioned in the Bible. May be not very well explained like the way the worldly experts have been able to explain them, but I bet, they are also somehow mentioned and written in the Bible.

Trust me, we need God in our lives, and the Bible is one of the best places to find out about Him. Not only we need God to fixing things, but we also need God to help us creating things, to give us new ideas for things like starting a business or a good cause, being creative and innovative, providing solutions, and to see life without limits.

Reading from Amplified Bible, Classic Edition version in the book of Psalm chapter 91 verse 1, the Bible says that “ He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].” That’s why most us of Christians for instance, like to go there…right? Sometimes I like to read the Bible for selfish reasons; to look for comfort and solutions to handle things. Sometimes I read the Bible because I just want to know more about God.

The Bible has got really good stuff that we need to know for our benefits; for example when faced with troubles and struggles, one of the scriptures that has helped me to deal with it, is in the book of Psalm chapter 46 verse 1, reading from God’s Word Bible translation, it says, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble.” Just reading it can give you strength and hope that everything is going to be alright, there must be a way to solve and handle this, because not only with God all things are possible, but He is our ever-present help in times of trouble if we seek Him for help. Many times in my life when I face some kind of limitations, I do my best to make sure God is always the first one I run to, before anybody else.

What do you think some people do when the doctors said to them there are no cures for their diseases, or they have only few days to live? But if they know God is the best physician and the one with the last say, therefore, it helps them calm down and help them break that wall of limitation, and say, “This may be impossible with man, but with God all things are possible.” Some of them because of what they believe, they continue to live longer than what these doctors have told them. Sometimes, everything is not as it seems or appears to be.

The Bible has so many scriptures to guide and help us with so many things. Though most of the time it requires you to read the entire Bible passage and chapter to get the understanding of the situation. Sometimes the chapters are related, so in order to understand this chapter you have to read the one previous first, because it is the continuation of something was mentioned in the previous chapter. But you can also find individual scriptures that can also speak to your situation, like “Psalm 46:1.”

How many of you, at least once have had bad experiences with their bosses? We all have had some kind of problems with authority at sometime in our lives. Can you say yes, so that I won’t have to feel I am the only one who has been through this? Hahaha…I mean, especially when you know that you were right, and your boss was unfair. And I have to tell you, if it wasn’t for what I have learned from the Bible, and my reverence for God, honestly, it’s hard to act cool when you are being mistreated. But I did it, because I knew I was working to please God and not people. God is the One who is my CEO, and my President, and He expects me to behave right and do things in a correct manner. Even in other areas of life, I also like to find out and know what does God has to say about my situations.

My point is that, success begins when you know with God there are no limits to what you can be and become, do and achieve, and even behave.

I have seen people behaving so calm in some situations when things were very scary. And I asked a couple of them one time, “How can you remain so calm after this?” And they said, “We trust God and believe He is going to help us make things right in due time.”

That is what happens when you make GOD your CEO and your President. You look to what He has to say about your situation, and perhaps everything, because He is now the One who is guiding and directing you. If you trust in limited people and principles, my friends your life will be limited and mediocrity. If you trust in an infinite and unlimited God, there is a chance, He may take you somewhere far beyond your imagination. And that my friend is where success begins, when you start having faith in God and believing with God, there are no limits.

So, what about you; who is the first person you go to or think about when you face a limiting situation? Do you ever think about God? I would like to know your thoughts on this.
