Believe in Your Future Self

Believe in Your Future Self

I like to encourage and motivate myself as well as other people to live to our greatest potential. But I don’t think I was born this way, it all started after I got tired and tired of the way things were going in my life, and it was time to do something about it. So I became a believer of hope and future. I began to motivate myself to keep going and fight on, to make things better for myself and others, even if sometimes it’s just a glimpse of hope that is required for me to encourage change and make things turn around for the best. Imagining and hoping for a better future became two things that I practice more often. One, it’s because when I envision about my future self and what I want in my future, it basically gives me hope, and makes my current situations and realities imaginary irrelevant, and that’s good for a start. Two, is because experts say, ‘your imagination is everything’ when it comes to live to your full and greatest potential.

From my own experiences I have learned that the best way to imagine your future self is to know who you are first and what you want. When you know who you are, then you know who you are not. When you know what you want, then you know what you don’t what in your life. Once you are clear of who you are and what you want in life, not only your imagination will be clear, but your vision for your life, family, and business for instance, will be clear as well.

This is because such information is very important to display. Customers need to know who you are as a company, what you are serving, offering, and providing. And what it does is that, it also provides direction, not only to your customers, but also to your staff or employees, and as an entity. It also gives you are identity and limit others to assign other identities to you. When you don’t know who you are, it is easy to fall for anything, or to allow others to ascribe any identity to you, shape, or change you to someone they want you to become.

When a camera is out of focus, usually if you take a picture, its image will be unclear and blurry, or vague. Therefore, in order to get better images, pictures, or videos, we will put our cameras in focus mode. Just like the camera, our success depends on the clarity of our visions, missions, purposes, identities, and etc. When we don’t have directions for our future selves, whether it be personal or for the company, it is easy to lose focus. But the more we get focused and clear, the more likely we will succeed. Continue reading “Believe in Your Future Self”
