Sometimes ago I shared that the Word of God is An Incorruptible Seed. Meaning that if you have been believing the Word of God, you have been standing on the promises of God, and you see nothing is changing, one of the reasons could be perhaps it’s not time yet for the manifestation. But another reason why you haven’t received the manifestation it’s going to be what’s going on your side, and not the Word of God.
The reason why most of us haven’t received the manifestation is not going to be because something is wrong with the Word of God. It’s going to be because of the issues of our hearts and the conditioning of our hearts. It won’t be about the irrelevant of the seed, which is the Word of God; it’s going to be because of how we receive the seed in our hearts, which is the ground where we plant those seeds. So it’s not the seed fault, it’s always the soil.
If your heart has some issues like doubt or disbelief, anger, hate, depression, self-condemnation, and all the negative states of the heart, all these could be messing up with your ground. When you hear the Word of God about your situation, and you believe it, and you plant it in your heart, the next thing is going to happen is that you are going to be tested and tried with it.
Depending on the condition of your heart, the enemy will come to test and try you with it. And honestly, sometimes it’s not really the enemy; it could be our own thoughts, fears, and old wrong beliefs. So maybe you are believing for a miracle healing and you really felt the Lord sent you this scripture of healing, somehow you sensed in your spirit that He spoke with you and said, “Don’t fear, you will be healed.” And you heard it so clearly, and your whole being knows it was the Lord’s voice that was speaking to you maybe through His servant, your pastor for instance. Or maybe you were reading the Bible, and the scriptures hit you with revelation concerning your issues. You sensed that God was speaking to you; therefore you believed. And then as you continue to believe, while you are waiting to see it come to pass, the enemy shows up with suggestions. “Are you sure it was the Lord? Why would God speak to someone like you? That promise is only for Israelites. It’s taking so long, this is just a prank…hahaha” So all these suggestions you will be battling on your mind just to make you quit believing.
And the fact is, the enemy, whether it’s your negative thoughts, or the real enemy of God, he or she always is after your faith and peace. When your peace and faith is attacked, it can stop or delay the seed to grow and mature in its due time or season. Because if God gives you revelation about something, if you don’t use it, you may not get it on time, sometimes even miss it. So you have got to guard your heart, because your heart is the ground where the Word of God or the promises of God are being grown and take root. Read “The Parable of the Sower,” or “A Harvest Story,” in the Bible (Matthew 13: 1-23, or Mark 4:1-20, or Luke 8:4-15).
And even though sometimes certain seeds take a while than others to be manifested, but it doesn’t mean they won’t mature and come reality in your life. In the Book of Mark chapter 11 verse 24 to 25, the Lord Jesus said, “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.”
So even if contradictions will keep on showing up, whatever the promise of God you have planted in your heart, keep it in your heart. Keep claiming that you have received it. Don’t listen to the negative voices and reports that contradict with that promise. In the book of James chapter 1 verses 6 to 8, it says when you ask the Lord for something, you must believe and not doubt. It records, “You must have faith as you ask Him. You must not doubt. Anyone who doubts is like a wave which is pushed around by the sea. Such a man will get nothing from the Lord. The man who has two ways of thinking changes in everything he does.”
Sometimes it’s going to take time to see it happening and you may have to endure a lot of things until you see the promise of God manifesting in your life. Your job is to guard your heart and make sure you continue to believing, and walk by faith, not by your sight, or what you see right now. And keep declaring that promise of God, night and day keep claiming it, until the struggle ends, and you see the promise of God in your life. Just keep focusing on the promise, and not the false evidences that contradict the Word of God!
In order to be strong, you have got to stand like a rock so that you won’t be moved with the enchantment of the enemy trying to discouraging you. You have to know, its part of the process. And we already know Who the Winner is. Even though we may look like losing, at the end of all God wins, full stop!
Don’t be like the chameleon that changes color to match its environment. I understand sometimes in life we have to adapt to the environment, but this won’t work when it comes to the Word of God because God does not change, and His promises do not change. He is the same yesterday, today, and will remain to be tomorrow. In the book of Malachi chapter 3 verses 6 to 7, the Lord said through His prophet, “I am the Lord, and I do not change. That is why you descendants of Jacob are not already destroyed. Ever since the days of your ancestors, you have scorned My decrees and failed to obey them. Now return to Me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.”
The Bible says with faith we overcome. In the book of 1 John chapter 5 verses 4 to 5, it says, “For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.”
In the book of Hebrews chapter 12 verses 1 to 2, it also says, “Since we have such a huge crowd of men of faith watching us from the grandstands, let us strip off anything that slows us down or holds us back, and especially those sins that wrap themselves so tightly around our feet and trip us up; and let us run with patience the particular race that God has set before us. Keep your eyes on Jesus, our Leader and Instructor. He was willing to die a shameful death on the cross because of the joy He knew would be His afterwards; and now He sits in the place of honor by the throne of God.”
You have to guard your faith, because it helps you overcome the enemy, your struggles, and so on. Your faith is what keeps you going and continuing to fight your adversaries when you see no other way, or when you hit the wall. It’s your faith that helps you hang on, believing that things will change for you. It’s your faith in God that gives you hope for tomorrow. A life without faith and hope is a hopeless life. So let us stay positive, walk and act toward faith for our help is from the Lord.
To your success,
