2018 Recap | Year In Review

We are about to entering another year by the Grace of GOD. So many good and unpleasant things happened, but I’m going to count my blessings and celebrate my highlights for this year.

As of today,

I have recorded 51 podcast episodes. And from them, I got to do “Why It’s Important To Be Born Again Series” also known as “A New Believer Foundation Course.”  I’m almost done with it, just a few episodes left, and it’s going to be an amazing series and course.

I have written 56 articles. It is less than last year articles that I have written and it is because last year we posted three times a week, one podcast episode and two articles per week, but this year we have posted twice a week, one podcast episode and one article per week. I had my reasons for it. Good news is that I have written several series this year. One of them is “The Kingdom Of GOD In Series” also known as “Denouncing and Rebuking Evil Foundation Course.” This is another series that I’m really glad I was able to do it and when it’s done it’s going to help some of us a lot. I did very important series this year; The Importance of The Word of GOD Series, The Importance of Prayers or The Power of Prayers Series, The Importance of Faith or The Miracles of Faith Series, Your Gifts, Talents, and Skills Series, A.S.K Series, Your Personal Branding Series, and et cetera.

I rekindled my love for GOD this year. In January the LORD told me He is going to be my song this year. I even shared about it here. And I have to say I have spent more time with GOD this year than last year. I prayed like never before this year. I prayed for some situations that I never before thought to pray about. I studied the Word of GOD this year more than last year…hahaha.

And of course, I started charging for our products and services. In previous years, everything was free. Our magazines were free. We have a couple of free books also. Our audios were free. It was free everything…hahaha. But a worker has got to be paid…hahaha. Support us; visit our online store and check out our services. You can also work with us.

I mean, those are enough for me to give GOD praise and thanksgiving. It was a tough year for me, but I’m very grateful to GOD because through it all I have learned to trust in GOD, I have learned to depend upon His Word.

Why I’m sharing this? Well, I want to inspire and encourage someone out there, but also myself. Just because we are facing obstacles it doesn’t mean we can’t continue to move forward. We should move forward regardless of what is opposing us. If we prayed and GOD said yes, and He has approved us to proceed because it is the part of His plans for us, don’t mind the opponents. GOD has the last say. The LORD Jesus while He was doing His ministry here on planet earth, He also had opponents, but He went on accomplishing His purpose. Apostle Paul also had opponents including an inner opponent, a thorn and a messenger of the devil to torment him, but he went on saying it was by GOD’s grace he was able to work more abundantly than the others. In the book of 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 10, he said “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.” Another translation says “But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out His special favor on me and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God Who was working through me by His grace.”

If you have been given the grace to do something by GOD, your opposition cannot stop you to fulfill what GOD has purposed for you. You have to understand some of our barriers are part of the package that is supposed to propel us to succeeding. Perhaps if they didn’t exist, we wouldn’t have worked hard enough, or exercised our faith accordingly. We wouldn’t be where we are today with all these highlights that we are grateful for. They are part of the growth process that we need to go through.

I know some of us right now have already started celebrating Christmas Holiday. Some while doing that are also reviewing their 2018 goals whether they have achieved them, and others are preparing a better game plan for 2019 according to what they have learned this year, planning and setting goals for the next year. Just remember that JESUS is the reason for the Christmas season and GOD is still on His Throne. We need to cover ourselves, loved ones, and our plans of course in prayer. The Bible says In the Bible in the book of Proverbs chapter 16 verse 3 it says that “Commit your activities to the Lord, and your plans will be achieved.” Another translation says, “Commit your works to the Lord and your plans will be established.”
