The book of Proverbs chapter 4 verse 23 says that “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
Everything we believe, watch, listen, influenced by, all of these things can become things that we grow in our hearts and minds, and basically our lives and other people lives. These things started as seeds that we planted into our hearts which grow into trees of beliefs systems, all kinds of demonic strongholds, ungodly systems, and et cetera. Our hearts are grounds and gardens that filled with many of those trees that only give us bad fruits. They started out as tiny seeds and grew up to be parts of our lifestyles, mindsets, characters and attributes, and so forth.
In this episode 121 of “Live to Your Full Potential Podcast,” I have shared a few Bible Passages as a continuation of what we have discussed in our recent previous episodes. But I have mentioned the necessity of having and developing a lifestyle of thanksgiving. We need to grow a tree of thanksgiving in our hearts, where the only fruits that come out of it are thanksgiving and praise to GOD and of course we need to appreciate the people GOD has placed in our lives, and the things GOD has blessed us with.
I have shared three Bible examples why we need to give thanks to GOD, and the benefit of doing so. In the book of 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 18, it says that “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is GOD’s Will for you in CHRIST JESUS.” Meaning that, it is the Will of GOD to give thanks in all circumstances.
