I have to tell you that for me to do this series is amazing. One of the most important things I’m proud to do this year is this series. I made a decision to do it because of my loved ones. I have some of them that need to understand why it’s very important they should make a decision to be born-again; it has everything to do with their destinies, now in this world, and in the afterlife.
You know, we can’t live this godly life, or righteous life, that God is expecting us to live totally relying on our own strengths and efforts. We need God’s help. And God is a gentleman. He won’t force Himself on you; therefore, you have to want Him to come into your life. Through the Lord Jesus Christ, God comes to be with us, and live in us. When you pray a Salvation prayer, you are inviting Him to be part of your life.
We need God to help us make us what He wants us to become which is His children; sons and daughters of GOD. The Bible says that in John chapter 1 verses 11 and 12 that “The Lord Jesus came to that which was His own, but His own did not receive Him. Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God.” So salvation is for everyone even though it started from the Jews (Israelites), but God made the door opened to the Gentiles also; basically everyone and anyone who will believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
You have to understand, when it comes to Kingdom of God, everything has to be done through faith. If we want to inherit the blessings of the Kingdom of God, we can only do it through faith. We can only go to heaven by faith. That’s why faith is very important because everything about God’s Kingdom and its doings requires faith. Our God is a God of faith.
In the Bible, Nicodemus had a question for the Lord Jesus, and in the book of John chapter 3 verse 4 to 8, he asked the Lord Jesus; “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
“Why It’s Important To Be Born Again Series” is a ten-video series about the gift of Salvation and why we need to receive it in our lives.
God loves us just for the fact that He created us. But there is something that the Lord Jesus shared in the Bible that brings God joy.
Being born-again basically means “a spiritual rebirth”, or “a regeneration of the human spirit from the Holy Spirit contrasted with physical birth.”
So what’s next after you became born again? You must renew your mind. You have to join a Biblical teaching local Church nearby you to be baptized in water and be fed with the Word of God, and be established in the Lord.
Apostle Paul said in the book of Romans chapter 12 verse 2 that “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” We now know that we need to reprogram and renew our minds.
I have shared three stages and phases of Salvation. There is Instant Salvation (Justification). What’s next is Continuous Salvation (Sanctification). And the third stage or phase is Final Salvation (Glorification).
It’s a choice to obey GOD, now the Holy Spirit of GOD, the Power of GOD, is in us, the power of sin shall not overpower us for anything is operating under disobedience to GOD is operating under sin.
If GOD can make the world out of nothing, He can take the empty places in our lives and create something great. He can speak light out of our darkest situations. We learn that we are the lights of the world. The LORD wants us to become His disciples and draw many to Him.
We discuss that what it means to put on Full Armor of GOD. We know that the Word of GOD has power to override anything that is against the Will of GOD.
The Bible says in the book of 1 Corinthians 15 verse 57 “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Who determines our identity? I have come up with five points about our identity.
We have been called to duplicate the LORD JESUS ministry. All you have got to do is right where you are; in your home, work place, and so on, you can start living like a disciple; reach out to lost souls, people who are not saved, share the Gospel, and love your neighbors.
The Bible says in the book of Romans chapter 10 verses 9 and 10 that “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”
Another translation says “For if you tell others with your own mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord and believe in your own heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in his heart that a man becomes right with God; and with his mouth he tells others of his faith, confirming his salvation.”
All you have got to do is pray the Salvation prayer in this manner (you can pray from your heart and create your own prayer):
“Lord God, I thank You. Father Eternal I have heard about Your goodness and mercy found in Christ Jesus. I believe Jesus and I want to receive Him in my Heart. I repent of my sins. I believe that Jesus died on a cross for my sins and on a third day He rose and now is seated at the right hand of the Father. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and my life. Be my Lord and my Savior from now on and forever more. Thank You, I receive You by faith. In Your Name I pray. Amen.”
And that’s it; welcome into the family of God. You are now a born-again Christian believer child of God. Share your good news with others.
Join a local Church that teaches Biblical teachings in your area. The Pastors of your local Church you will be attending they will help you with your Christian walk and help you with your spiritual and faith growth. They will also be able to answers some of the questions that you may have.
To your success,
